Peterson Racing is hiring Car Chiefs for its NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series program. The Car Chief works with the Crew Chief, Race Engineer, and mechanics to deliver a prepared, compliant car at the shop and racetrack.
What you’ll do
- Direct car assembly, setup, inspection, and race-weekend readiness.
- Coordinate setup changes and technical priorities with the Crew Chief, engineering group, and mechanics.
- Maintain accurate setup records and communicate work between the shop and road crew.
Minimum requirements
- At least three years of experience as a Car Chief on a NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series car.
- Proficiency in chassis setup and computer-based technical work.
- Ability to use Microsoft 365 applications for communication, documentation, and daily work.
- A positive attitude, clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Availability to travel for race weekends and work the schedule required by the team.
